Words can hurt. Words can destroy. Words can be annoying.
A lot of words that we say, text, and tweet just aren’t necessary and can get us into a lot of trouble – Just ask Roseanne Barr.
There are some sayings that have made their way into our daily habits that often spill out of our mouths without much thought.
These annoying and often times offensive comments have become so customary, that pulling together a list wasn’t even that hard.
Here are 12 phrases that are never appreciated:
This phrase has never helped anyone calm down.
What you are basically saying is you look terrible.
Something offensive is about to be said.
Rudest question ever.
Add to the list of rude and insensitive questions.
Immediately stop referring to any group or person as “those people”
What are you just saying?
Its passive aggressive and typically the person asking how you are is doing so genuinely.
You may have meant it as a compliment, but it doesn’t come out that way.
Just stop it.

Here are some corny clichés we could die happy never hearing again.
“It goes without saying”…then don’t.
“Let’s touch base”…only when rounding third.
“Move the goalpost”…who does this? A cheating goaltender?
“At the end of the day”…we’re all tired – of this phrase.
“It is what it is”…and what, exactly, is that?
“Going forward”…as opposed to traveling back in time.
“It’s on my radar”…it’s a faint, fading beep. But it’s on there.
“I’ll circle back”…like a vulture circling roadkill.
“Let’s take this off-line”…because we’ve bored everyone to tears.
“It’s neither here nor there”…Then where the heck is it?
“Low hanging fruit”…those who are too dumb to see through this charade.
“I have a lot on my plate”…doctors recommend six small meals per day.
“When push comes to shove”…you’re in bar brawl.
“Think outside the box”…the 90s called and wants their cliché back.
These cliché sayings have been used so often that they’ve lost their impact and make you look out-of-date.
