Peggy Newfield, Founder, and President of Personal Best, Inc.® and The American School of Protocol®, is a Georgia native. While teaching etiquette to over 10,000 children in the Atlanta area, Peggy authored her first children's book entitled Rio Speaks. This book is on the recommended reading list for every elementary school in the state of Georgia. Bell South ordered 5000 books, 2500 placed on the intercity bookmobile, and 2500 in Children's Health Care of Atlanta. Manners for 3, 4, & 5-year-olds ® was created by Peggy to show that teaching table lessons to small children could be done with ease. Many public and private schools use this 10 lesson teaching tool for Pre K classes. ASP’s Cultivating Character® curriculum focuses on the total development of the student. Self-control, anger management, kindness, responsibility, bullying, resilience, and appreciation are hot topics.
During the past 30 years, Peggy has been under contract to more than 100 FORTUNE 500 companies and 22 MBA and Law School programs nationwide. ASP’s one-day business etiquette seminar, Power, Presence & Style®, draws participants from many different industries across the United States.
Peggy has written numerous articles on business etiquette and is quoted often in leading publications. She also created for cable TV channels, a 60-second newsbreak series on etiquette and safety for children.
Peggy has appeared on every major television network including BBC radio and television. Business-to-Business magazine profiled Peggy as one of Atlanta's top 30 female professionals, affectionately referred to as "Divas". Atlanta's CBS affiliate, WGCL-N featured Peggy's one-day business etiquette seminar, Power, Presence & Style®, on multiple segments during ratings week.
